Welcome poddies to Tea With Two Rev’s for 15th August 2021! I hope you’ve remembered your cuppa, bikkie and Bible today we take an adventure into the Gospel of John.
This week I am joined by Rev Sandy Brodine from the Banyule Network of Uniting Churches as we explore the pinnacle of the John 6 text. Our conversation connects with last week’s readings and invites us to keep delving into heart of thinking about Jesus being the living bread and how that is expressed in our time and place.
Other readings from the lectionary for the week can be found here
“I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats from this bread he will live forever. The bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”
John 6: 51

Pathways To God This is a wonderful resource full of spiritual exercises you can practice to be fed and nourished. I was particularly taken with this page which is an 31 day opportunity to meditate on God’s word using different Ignatian ways to pray. Day 21 is an examen in gratitude.
